The island of Nosy be, in the western North of Madagascar, put on warm waters of the canal of Mozambique and sheltered from trade winds by the high mountains of the big earth. Island in perfumes with its fields of ylang ylang and coffee, in the landscapes of contrast sometimes green plains sometimes woody hills, strewed with deep lakes where crocodiles live in accordance with the people. Nosy be is also the point of departure for the adventure and the disorientation. Hundreds of kilometres of wild coast in the magnificent beaches, numerous coral trays in the abrupt tombants interrupted with natural channels, allow to practise all the techniques of fishing by boats: big and small dragnet, drift put, big palangrotte, to launch to popper, jigging.
Other main represented sorts are: wahoos, coryphènes, black Marlins, yellow tunas, tunas teeth of dog, lined tunas, bonites, barracudas, thazards, more than 15 varieties of carangues, 60 sorts of groupers among which the enormous loach, the red carps, the sharks, the vivaneaux Maori, green jobs, red jobs, beaks of female ducks, liches tropical, serioles and still many others the list of which would be too long...
Very rich in plankton, these warm waters are the paradise of the big planctophages and the other cetaceans such as: manta ray, whale shark, whale with bumps, rorquals of bryde, without forgetting dolphins. |
